RCR MT Belt Reelers are capable of stopping and starting under the most strenuous operating conditions and designed to operate with total control of the belt for installation and replacement.
Each unit is equipped with its own on board power unit and control system. The local operator station is equipped with a remote pressure adjustment dial, pressure gauge and joystick controller that allows the operator to vary the speed of the belt reeler in both the forward and reverse direction. The local operator control station also allows the operator to control the output pull force on the belt.
Constant torque control acts to decrease the rotation speed of the Belt Reeler as the output torque is increased, keeping the power demand constant.
RCR MT Belt Reelers utilise hydraulic drive motors and power packs developed for the most efficient, maintenance-friendly operation and use the latest PLC technologies.
