Featuring superior impact and abrasion resistance, sealed apron technology, a low profile and no Dribble Conveyor requirement, the Sealed Pan Feeder combines the robustness of an Apron Feeder with the sealing capabilities of a Belt Feeder.

The Sealed Pan Feeder is designed by RCR Mining Technologies’ innovative engineering team and manufactured in Western Australia.

We first introduced Sealed Pan Feeder technology to our Tier-1 clients in iron ore, but the applications are as wide-ranging as those for traditional Apron Feeders.

    Outboard chain, carry rollers, return rollers, sprockets and idlers are positioned outside of the material zone, reducing wear and tear, and providing greater accessibility to components.

    The sealed running surface eliminates the need for a Dribble Conveyor and the associated infrastructure, reducing the ongoing maintenance and operating costs.

  • No compromise of a belt cover
    The durable cast manganese steel surface means no compromise of a belt cover as seen on other feeder technologies.

  • Reverse capability
    Optional capability to run in both forward and reverse direction operationally, due to the symmetric nature of pan and seal configuration.
