BRENDAN DORRICOTT
Executive General Manager
Brendan joined RCR Mining Technologies in May 2021 as Executive General Manager.
Before joining RCR, Brendan had 20 years of experience in the mining, mineral processing, and infrastructure industries. Brendan has held engineering, project management, and business management positions in consulting, contracting, and owner organisations across Australia.
IAN GIBBS
Innovation & Collaboration Manager
Ian joined RCR in 1988 and has performed numerous senior management roles and positions in leadership, product development, project management and design. Ian was appointed General Manager of RCR in 2001.
In May 2021, Ian was appointed Innovation and Collaboration Manager. Ian brings his extensive experience, technical knowledge and valued industry relationships to this newly created role. He will focus on increasing our understanding of current and future customer needs, improving existing products, developing new and innovative products and sharing this knowledge with future leaders and innovators.
Ian’s career spans over 50 years in the industry, previously working for Telecom Australia (Telstra) for 13 years.
BILL BROWN
Regional Manager (Southwest)
Bill commenced his role with RCR in March 2007 with more than 40 years of experience in the mining industry, covering fixed and mobile mining plant and project management.
Bill has previously held business development positions as well as senior maintenance and operational management positions within the gold, mineral sands and metalliferous mining operations in underground and open pit mining, plus concentrator process plants.
Bill holds a Diploma in Project Management and Entrepreneurship.
MIKE HINMAN
Operations Manager
Mike commenced his role with RCR in July 2014 after more than 25 years’ experience in high volume / batch manufacturing, mobile equipment sales / hire and maintenance industries.
He has previously held positions including General Manager across multiple-disciplined national and international companies. Mike is responsible for the Welshpool operations at both RCR Mining Technologies and RCR Heat Treatment’s workshops servicing mining, oil and gas and general industrial market sectors.
Mike holds an MBA, as well as a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and Management.
MARK HAYWARD
Operations Manager
Mark joined RCR in 2016 after more than 8 years’ experience in the structural and mining sectors.
With a broad range of experience in manufacturing, maintenance, construction and inspections, he has previously held senior positions in Quality Assurance and manufacturing management roles.
Mark has a diverse skillset with a strong focus on team building and development, as well as creating and maintaining good client relationships. He is safety and quality driven and is able to manage continuous improvement, innovations and a LEAN manufacturing mindset.
COLIN HARDY
Commercial Manager
Colin commenced his role with RCR in May 2018 after more than 25 years’ experience in construction and maintenance within the minerals and energy sectors.
Colin has held positions for leading organisations including the National Commercial Manager of UGL Resources and WA/NT Contracts Manager with Thiess. Prior to his commercial and contracts management positions, Colin held roles in financial management.
Colin holds a Bachelor of Business and is a member of CPA Australia.
CAROLYN WOODLAND
HSE Manager
Carolyn joined RCR in October 2008 with seven years’ experience in safety.
Carolyn comes from a trade background which gives her a comprehensive understanding of the interaction between business requirements and safety at a practical level.
Carolyn holds a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Health, a Diploma in Training and Assessing as well as a Diploma in Environmental Management.
LES COSTA
Quality & Systems Manager
Les joined RCR in February 2004 after more than 18 years in a similar quality and systems management role.
Les maintains, develops and implements RCR’s ISO 9001 Quality Management System and manages the root cause and corrective action program for both internal and external audit findings. He also oversees the technology used within the business and makes decisions about computer hardware / software installations, maintenance and upgrades of devices used in the workplace.
LEON GRIFFITHS
Business Development Manager
Leon commenced his role with RCR in September 2010, after more than 24 years’ experience in the mining industry.
Leon’s previous roles include business development positions for a leading international industrial drives manufacturer as well as an operational management and business development role with a local Western Australian industrial hydraulics company.
Leon is a Mechanical Fitter by trade and has a Diploma in Management.
NEVILLE KELLY
Business Development Manager
Neville commenced his role with RCR in March 2011, after more than 25 years supporting the industrial and mining industry.
Neville has held roles covering technical, design and business development for international and national level businesses prior to joining the business.
Neville holds a Trade Certificate in Plant Mechanics, a Diploma in Hydraulic Engineering and a Degree in Business (Hons) from the University of Western Australia.
ELIA KHOURY
Engineering Manager – Equipment
Elia commenced with RCR in November 2007. Since joining the company, he has held numerous roles including Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, Assistant Project Manager of a major EPC project, and currently Engineering Manager.
Elia holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical Engineering) (Hons) from the University of Western Australia and is a Member of Engineers Australia.
BENJAMIN DORANT
Product Support Manager
Ben joined RCR in 2022 tasked with the reimagining and development of RCR’s product support capabilities.
Since completing his Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical Engineering) (Hons) from Curtin University and his Diploma in Management, Ben has devoted his energy and intellect to senior level commercial and operational roles within the Australian resources sector.
Ben is passionate about the enrichment of cultural capital and developing the capability of his teams through continuous learning and mentoring while challenging the status quo through the early adoption of innovative and creative ideas. Ben is driven by success and is currently completing an MBA through the Australian Institute of Management.
SHANE WALKER
Pre-Contracts & Project Controls Manager
Shane commenced with RCR in January 2006 after spending 20 years in the construction industry in Southern Africa and Australia.
During his time in the industry, Shane has held several positions including designer, estimator, project manager and management roles both in the construction and OEM mining equipment manufacturing industry.
Shane holds a Diploma in Architecture, Project Management and Management.
STEVE HARRIS
Production Manager – Heat Treatment
Steve came into his current role with over 20 years’ experience in Heat Treatment, including managing the operations of one of Australia’s largest and most diverse heat treatment plants.
PASCAL VAN DALEN
Finance Manager
Pascal commenced with RCR in 2016 with over 15 years’ experience in mining and refining industries.
Pascal has held various senior finance roles contributing to site operational management, including Financial Controller for Alcoa of Australia’s Bauxite Operations.
Pascal is a Chartered Accountant with experience in Insolvency and Debt Restructuring.
TONY HAIDAR
Project Delivery Manager
Tony joined RCR in August 2019 after 25 years’ experience in Contracts and Projects Management.
Since joining, Tony has successfully managed and delivered multiple design and construct projects.
Tony holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Perth Curtin University and a Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Major Mechanical).
